My new lens finally arrived after 2 weeks on backorder. It’s a 35mm lens f/1.8, I just love the aperture on this lens. I’m looking forward to doing some portraiture. Anyway, I went out this evening and took a couple of shots with my SB-800 strobe with the Ray RingFlash attachment, which I’m still in the experimentation process with. I was super happy with the results. You can get in close with this thing and even though manual focus is a need sometimes, it can really capture great detail with good light.
